This past weekend, a friend and I decided to head to Toronto for a girls trip. While walking to Kensington Market, we stumbled upon Graffiti Alley (which can actually be found on Google Maps now) and I am so glad we did!
Graffiti Alley is just what it sounds like, an alley full of graffiti BUT it’s some of the most colorful, detailed and creative art I’ve ever seen.
A FEW RECOMMENDATIONS
Carve out at least 30 minutes for Graffiti Alley, no more no less. Also, I would highly recommend going during the day with a friend, as I didn’t notice any lights. A few people who have visited Graffiti Alley have mentioned that some of the art was inappropriate for children. Personally, I didn’t see anything that I would deem as inappropriate, however the art in the Alley changes frequently so it may not have just been there when I went, but be on the lookout for that. Otherwise make sure to make a stop next time you’re in Toronto, you won’t regret it! If you’re looking for an instagrammable spot in Toronto, Graffiti Alley is definitely the answer.
